I was a child of the 60’s and I see so many similarities as I watch American culture daily. I remember saying to myself, what will life be like when we grow up? I knew. I knew once these people gained the power they sought we would experience the same protests, the same anti-Semitism, racism and riots. Basically, the same destruction. I remember walking out of one of my classes in the NEW SCHOOL OF SOCIAL RESEARCH, thinking Communism is already here. Regardless of the leader, party, century, country, Communism always follows the same path.
· The people are lied to by the government and press. Everything is wonderful, love, love, love.
· Lies are reinforced in school and in the media.
· All goods and services are controlled by the government. (Nationalized)
Are you thinking … This lady is nuts?! Besides, I got me a gun and no one from the government is going to take my stuff. Most Americans don't understand all of the craziness. They think, “That can't happen to me. No one wants my house, my stuff. Nothing in here is worth dying over”. You are right. You are not the target. The target is YOUR CHILDREN!
The attack is subtle. You are the breadwinner, the authority within your boundary, the final say, the last word. You must be weakened. You will be broken, you will comply. Covid was the test for extreme obedience, the trial run, but nothing is worse than illegal immigration. and lack of an education without learning about America. Illegal Immigration, a poor American history education changes the culture.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's call for mass deportation of millions of immigrants living in the U.S. illegally, as well as their American-born children was his ticket to win the Presidency. But how many of us remember how it bears similarities to a large-scale removal that many Mexican-American families faced 85 years ago.
During the Great Depression, counties and cities in the American Southwest and Midwest forced Mexican immigrants and their families to leave the U.S. over concerns they were taking jobs away from whites, despite their legal right to stay.
The result: Around 500,000 to 1 million Mexican immigrants and Mexican Americans were pushed out of the country during the 1930s. This was often called repatriation.
During that time, immigrants were rounded up and sent to Mexico, sometimes in public places and often without formal proceedings. Others, scared under the threat of violence, self-deported.
About 60 percent of those who left were American citizens, according to various studies on the 1930s repatriation. Later testimonies show families lost most of their possessions and some family members died trying to return. Neighborhoods in cities such as Houston, San Antonio, and Los Angeles became empty. The Democrats were in power.
Experts and advocates say the impact of that experience on Latinos remains evidnt today.
"It set the tone for later deportations," said Francisco Balderrama, a Chicano studies professor at California State University, Los Angeles.
Trump said that, if elected president, he would expand deportations and end "birthright citizenship" for children born to immigrants who are here illegally. Under his plan, American-born children of immigrants also would be deported with their parents, and Mexico would help build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
"They're illegal," Trump said of U.S.-born children of people living in the country illegally. "You either have a country or not."
Amid his comments on immigration, polls surprised everyone as they showed a growing number of Latin Americans agreed with Trump. They realized the negative effect of their lives as legal Americans now being displaced by illegals.
Although Trump has provided few details on how his proposed deportation effort would be carried out, his administration is quite transparent. Once again, the Democrats backed the wrong horse with Garcia. More and more evidence proves he is a gang member, and was up to crime. He and thousands of gang members deserve to be thrown out without due process. It is quite interesting to see how the Democrats spin their actions this time. Shall we deport them to more neighborhoods like Martha's Vineyard?
Will a large-scale deportation Trump envisions be impractical to enact, due to the extent to which these illegals have infiltrated the interior of the country? Time will tell. I hope not.
But the children? What about the children? U.S.-born children of immigrants have been erroneously automatically considered American citizens since the adoption of the Constitution's 14th Amendment in 1868. A Supreme Court ruling in 1898 halted previous attempts to limit the birthright of Chinese-American citizens after the passage of the Chinese Exclusion Act. SCOTUS will revisit that decision this summer. Unfortunately I don't hold out much hope they will make the right decision. Under what logic, except to destroy, does anyone think it is OK to come to America illegally, have a child and call that child an American? Or will they call that child an American?
Allowing illegals to stay in America presents another problem. Assimilation. Without assimilation, we have no country. A country can't exist if its citizens have no allegiance to the main idea of that country. This is a huge problem in TX as the Muslims, illegal and legal attempt to create their own city, EPIC, City in TX.
Join me today as William Federer and I discuss tariffs, the mechanism Trump intends to use to fund a lot of his projects, and tax relief. Clare Lopez and I will discuss the EPIC City and Muslims in America.
