Reminder Zoom Meeting for Jackson County
Hi Everyone:
This is a reminder for those living in Jackson County FL although all are invited to attend.

This year 25-26 the Budget is balanced. For that reason all meetings scheduled regarding the budget are cancelled. The commissioners expect the Property Tax Bill to pass which will leave a shortfall for 26-27.
Although the budget is extensive if we all took a piece to review we might find some of the waste that CFO Blaise Ingoglia keeps referring to. We should be able to find items that we can recommend adjustments to save money. Specially for next year. Example what is the actual cost of the Flock cameras? Lease? Maintenance? How does the ticket money get split? What NGO’s or Associations get tax money? How much?
The commissioners made a change in insurance carriers which saved us quite a bit of money as increases were due. The county also runs on Grants. Do these grants cst us money? The regular BCC meeting is tomorrow at 6PM.
